The second-generation Military™ 2 elevates the time-tested Military™ Model with the addition of a high-strength Compression Lock® mechanism and a four-position pocket clip that supports all possible carry preferences. Our remarkable Salt® Series expressions of the Military 2 raise the bar yet again by expressing the design with state-of-the-art, ultra-corrosion-resistant materials. Their full-flat-ground blades are crafted from CPM® MagnaCut®—a revolutionary particle metallurgy steel that defies conventional stainless steel metallurgy to deliver an incredible balance of edge retention, toughness, and extreme corrosion resistance. These elite blades are paired with easy-to-clean, open-backed handles featuring G-10 scales and nested, skeletonized stainless steel liners. The skeletonized liners form the foundation of their ultra-reliable Compression Lock® mechanisms, while fully configurable four-position pocket clips provide a choice of left or right-side, tip-up or tip-down carry. This Military 2 Salt has a satin-finished blade and two-toned G-10 scales. The meticulously machined Caribbean Bi-Directional Texture pattern not only ensures a secure, non-slip grip, but also reveals the scales’ alternating black and yellow layers to enhance the knife’s visibility in and around the water.
